With spring arriving next week and summer slowly making its way back, we thought of doing a “throwback Thursday” and share some images of the Showcase that we hosted last July in the idyllic island of Capri. This little piece of paradise has a very special place in our heart. It is a magical island with a unique beauty and charm, visited since the beginning of time, by intellectuals, writers, and artists. From Roman emperors to Hollywood stars, they have all been enchanted by Capri’s life style, cuisine, beauty, and bliss.
SCALO hosted a showcase event in one of the most beautiful terraces overlooking Marina Grande, at Salotto 42 (via Roma 8). Salotto 42 is the quintessential Roman Speak Easy that opened its doors in Capri over the summer of 2015. It was a great Aperitivo Caprese with a Latin American twist! The wine and cocktails were accompanied by the most flavourful tomatoes and mozzarella from the island as well as some guacamole. The atmosphere humming with glitterati was decorated by the beauty of the Mediterranean and the colours and distinct design of our SCALO collection.
